Opening:  Customer Service Specialist

We have an opening for a Part-time (16-24 hours/week) Customer Service Specialist.  You will assist customers with inquiries by phone, email, and at our shop.  You will help our team manage inventory – ordering, receiving, and organizing.  You will help us keep our shop neat and clean.  Assist our team with key marketing tasks (training provided).  Over time this role could expand to Full-time and/or into other functions within our team.

  • Bike knowledge – working knowledge of and interest in bicycles
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Available to work on Saturdays

Professional Bike Mechanic

Typically our Bike Mechanics join us with many years of experience as a professional bike mechanic.  Because our portfolio of bikes and accessories are state of the art, knowledge of modern bike technologies is important.  These technologies include hydraulic disc brakes, bicycle suspension, both carbon fiber and alloy frames, and advanced bike shifting systems (11 and 12 speed, internally geared hubs, carbon belts, etc.).  Knowledge of electric bike drive systems is not usually required (training provided).

Customer Advisor (sales associate)

Our Customer Advisors (sales) act as our primary representative with our customers.  Customer Advisors enjoy continually studying the electric bike market and our portfolio so they are in a position to provide expert consultation.  The approach we take with customers is a no-pressure, educational and consultative one.  We encourage test rides and lots of Q & A to ensure we find the right bike for each customer.

Marketing Roles

We engage our market and customers in a variety of ways – several digital forms as well as print, radio, and community events.  Therefore, an ideal Marketing Associate will have background in at least a few of these.  Our marketing needs typically are part-time but can often be combined with other functions in our company if full-time is important.
