The following are groups and organizations we admire and support. We encourage you to check them out, donate and/or volunteer when you can.
Bike Church. If you’re low on dough and need your bike fixed, head to the Bike Church. They’ll help you fix your bike, offer used and/or lower cost parts and you’ll learn a bit about bike repair.
Bike Santa Cruz County. Our local bike advocacy heros! They’re engaged all over the place making our County better for bikes.
CalBike. Our state bike advocacy group, CalBike is doing some awesome things at the California state level on behalf of all us bicyclists.
Ecology Action. A local Santa Cruz non-profit consultancy engaged in all kinds of programs to improve our environment.
Holy Cross Food Pantry. If you or someone you know needs to supplement their groceries, show up on a Wednesday or Friday (check their hours) and they’ll provide a bag of groceries. Associated with Second Harvest Food Bank, Holy Cross and many other local outlets, help our neighbors who are in a rough spot. Hey, do you know what Santa Cruz means in Spanish… Holy Cross. Yep, the Mission and Church inspired the name of the City.
Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz. A leading mountain bike club and advocacy group. MBoSC, its members and hundreds of volunteers make a huge impact on our local trails – building, maintaining, and planning for the future!
People For Bikes. A national bike advocacy group with a dozens of great research and news articles. There is a ton of good eBike info on their Electric Bike section.

Santa Cruz County Cycling Club. The local road cycling club here in Santa Cruz. SCCCC members are major bike advocates, lead lots of group rides, and contribute to many cycling events in our area.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County. Second Harvest coordinates the collection and distribution of badly needed food for those in our community who are in need.
