“A ton of fun” can easily describe a Mountain Bikers Of Santa Cruz dig day! The latest dig day at DeLaveaga Park was nothing short of epic! Current eBikes was a proud sponsor of the January 28th dig. Mike and I were trail side all day moving dirt and spreading eBike stoke!
The goal of this write up and photo recap is to give a general sense of what the “dig day” was all about. Hopefully we will see you at the next dig day or one of our other sponsored events! Why you may ask? Because all of our events our super fun!
Lets get started…
Friends and fellow riders started to roll in at 8:45am, they were greeted with great coffee, pastries, and a signup sheet. Soon after, volunteers grabbed a provided packed lunch and we started the introductions. Ice breaker prompt: What is your name, and what was the first bike you lusted after!
Next came the digging… and leaf sprinkling!
Raffle prizes! All volunteers were entered to win some pretty sweet prizes!
When the digging stopped, volunteers were rewarded with kegs of locally brewed beers, e-mountain bike demos, and a ton of prizes!
Grand prize winners won a free all day eBike rental voucher! We had 4 grand prize winners and 4 massive smiles!

All it takes is 1 ride to realize why eBikes are so amazing. Volunteers had the chance to demo top of the line Haibike E-MTB’s and have some major fun!
